Plugged Inn is a US Discord on Whop for Pokémon TCG, sneaker and collectible drops: instant alerts, an in-store stock checker, and autocheckout that places the order for you.

Is Plugged Inn legit?

Plugged Inn reviews: 586 Whop reviews. And what its critics say.

4.9 out of 5 on Whop, a verified Instagram with 264K followers, and some fair objections. Both sides are below.

You don't lose drops because you're slow. You lose them because checking out by hand takes longer than the drop lasts. Plugged Inn pings you when stock goes live, shows what's on shelves near you, and can run your saved profile through checkout in seconds.

The short answer

Short answer: it is a real, long-running paid Discord with a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 586 reviews on Whop. It will not suit everyone, and some people object to paid drop groups on principle. Both sides are below.

What members say

Recent Whop reviews are short and mostly about the people. "Best community ever!!" wrote dannyboiiLLC. "Everyone is super friendly and helpful," wrote jackhlake.

On Reddit's r/PokemonTCGDrops, one poster wrote: "Glad the Plugged Inn Discord has autocheckout for this cause these scheduled drops are always a nightmare."

What critics say

The most-liked objection under their own TikToks: "Every one of these Pokémon retail tracker servers requires a paid subscription, so no thanks." That is fair. Free restock groups exist. They are slower and have no auto-checkout.

Others call groups like this scalper tools, and families in the comments ask that drops be left for kids. Plugged Inn's members are a mix of collectors and resellers. If automated buying bothers you on principle, this is not for you.

There are also 15 ratings of 3 stars or lower on the VIP listing, against 567 of 4 or 5 stars.

Our read

It is legitimate in the sense that matters: real product, real members, years of public posting, billing handled by Whop. Whether it is worth it depends on how many drops you actually go after.

The 3-day trial is the honest test. Join before a drop you want, see whether the alert and checkout work for you, and cancel from Whop if they do not.

That's the short version. The detail, the costs and the catches are below.

01 · A familiar drop

You were there. It still sold out.

  1. The product page flips to “Add to cart”. No announcement.
  2. Autocheckout orders are already placed.
  3. If you were awake, you're on the payment page, typing a card number.
  4. “Sold out.” By morning it's on resale sites at more than retail.

Same site. Same product. Different checkout.

An illustrative timeline built from Plugged Inn's stated checkout and sell-out times, not a specific drop.

02 · Try it

Run the drop yourself.

Move the sliders. The checkout itself is only half of it: most of your time goes on noticing the alert at all.

Autocheckout: in with 54s to spareIt doesn't wait for you to see anything. Your saved profile runs when the drop goes live.
By hand: made it, with 13s to spareIf you're awake, at your phone, and nothing goes wrong at the payment step.

A simple model, not a simulation of a real drop. It uses Plugged Inn's stated times (about 20–25 seconds by hand, about 5–7 with autocheckout) and their figure that drops under 1,000 units sell out in under 60 seconds. Being in time doesn't guarantee an order: queues, limits and cancellations still apply. See how autocheckout is set up →

Two bars: checkout by hand 20 to 25 seconds, autocheckout 5 to 7 seconds

03 · Why it keeps happening

Three things are working against you.

Drops land when you're not looking.Target new products typically go live between 1 and 4 AM ET. Plugged Inn's log puts 26.4% of first drops at 3:00 AM.
The small ones are gone in a minute.Chase products under 1,000 units sell out in under 60 seconds, by their numbers.
You're in a queue with software.Plugged Inn's own notes say most Pokémon Center restocks are stock released from refunded bot orders and failed payments.

It isn't effort.
It's seconds.

04 · The drop clock

When drops actually land.

Typical windows from Plugged Inn's drop log and support notes, shown in Eastern Time and converted to yours. Retailers change these without notice, which is the reason alerts exist.

Pokémon CenterRestocksTue / Thu · 10 AM–1 PM ETTheir support notes say 11 AM–2 PM, Tue to Thu. Treat it as late morning.

Target: 26.4% of first drops at 3:00 AM ET; Friday accounts for 31.5% of first drops and 39.7% of restocks (Plugged Inn's Target guide, 15 May 2026). Best Buy releases are in-store only, per Plugged Inn.

Nobody should be awake at 3 AM refreshing a product page.

05 · What actually arrives

Three tools, one Discord.

Core

Autocheckout

You save a profile (name, shipping address, card). When a covered drop goes live, their checkout providers run it. You're told the result in Discord.

About 5–7 seconds, they say, against 20–25 by hand. Premium: 10–25% fee on wins.
Alerts

Drop and restock pings

Links posted the moment stock goes live, through Discord and their mobile app, plus a stock pinger you set once with a zip code and keywords.

500+ sites tracked, per Plugged Inn. Included in every tier.
In-store

Stock checker

Look up inventory at stores near you before you drive. Several Whop reviewers name it as the feature they use most.

Doesn't work for Walmart: their notes say Walmart's stock isn't trackable.
  • Covers Pokémon TCG, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, sneakers and hype collectibles
  • Retailers include Pokémon Center, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, Costco, Barnes & Noble and Dollar General
  • Setup guides, 24/7 community, and staff who answer in tickets

The honest part. The biggest hauls come from people running many profiles per retailer; Plugged Inn's own “6× more items” figure is footnoted “members with 10+ profiles on each site”. Retailers limit quantities, cancel orders, and some of these products were bought in store, not through autocheckout.

The next drop won't wait. Have a profile ready before it lands.

07 · What it really costs

The membership, and the fee on wins.

Most ads for groups like this skip this part. On Premium, autocheckout charges a pay-after-success fee when it gets you an item. Put your own numbers in.

Defaults are Plugged Inn's own Walmart example: a $50 item with a $100 market price is a $10 fee at 20%. They use TCGplayer for the market price. Premium's fee is listed as 10–25%; the exact terms are posted with each drop.

Market price minus what you paid$50

Fee on that win (20%)−$10

Premium membership, per month$14.99

You only pay the fee when autocheckout gets you the item. A miss costs nothing beyond the membership.

Plain arithmetic, before sales tax, shipping and any selling fees. Market prices move. This isn't a profit forecast. Check the current fee terms on Whop →

Christopher Richter, 5 stars, 19 Oct 2025: The in-store stock checker has helped me cop many times and I've hit on Pokémon Center several times due to the pings. I haven't hit yet with ACO.
Callan Young, 5 stars, 8 Jan 2026: If you need ACO, consider Plugged Inn. Easy and fast to get started. Basically just fill out a form and you're done.
Jasmine Estrada, 5 stars, 8 Jan 2026: I just started Pokémon hunting and this makes it so easy for me to get cards. I've gotten lucky with the in-store feature.
Jovanny Duran, 5 stars, 19 Oct 2025: Kinda confusing at first but gets easier. They've got a great system to show you how to cop many items.
Jay Cal, 5 stars, 8 Jan 2026: I love getting early access to product links and the ACO feature has actually been useful instead of gimmicky.
Anthony tumpson, 5 stars, 8 Jan 2026: I couldn't catch a drop to save my life before Plugged Inn. I'm usually sceptical of paid Discords, but they won me over.

10 · What you're probably thinking

Fair questions.

Is Plugged Inn a scam?

We found no sign of that. It has 586 reviews averaging 4.9 on Whop, 7,498 joins, and verified social accounts that have posted for years. Payment and cancellation run through Whop.

Is pluggedinn.io the real site?

Yes. pluggedinn.io is Plugged Inn's official site, and membership is sold at whop.com/pluginn. This site, joinpluggedinn.com, is an independent affiliate site.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You manage and cancel the subscription from your Whop account. Check the terms shown at checkout for the exact billing rules.

Does it guarantee I get the drop?

No. It gives you earlier alerts, stock checks and a faster checkout. Stock is still limited and retailers can cancel orders.

“Do I need a bot or any software?”

No. Plugged Inn says there are no bots, scripts or downloads on your side: you fill in a profile, and their autocheckout providers run it when a drop goes live. Alerts come through Discord and their mobile app.

“Is autocheckout really included for $14.99?”

Access is, but wins aren't free. Plugged Inn's own pricing table lists Premium as “ACO with 10–25% PAS fee”, a pay-after-success fee charged when autocheckout gets you an item. VIP ($34.99 a month) includes a checkout dashboard without that fee on most drops. Walmart Wednesday carries a fee of 20% of the profit on every tier.

“Is it safe to hand over my card?”

That's your call, and it's the main trade-off. Autocheckout needs your full name, shipping address and card details. Plugged Inn says everything entered is encrypted and only its checkout providers can access it. Those providers are third parties. A virtual card with a limit is the cautious option; their notes say Capital One virtual cards work and Privacy.com is blocked at Target, Walmart and Pokémon Center.

“Can retailers cancel the order?”

Yes. Retailers limit quantities and cancel orders they think are automated. Plugged Inn's notes say Target can flag an address as a reseller after three to five cancelled card orders. Nothing here is guaranteed, and their own disclaimer says results depend on site availability, demand and your setup.

“How fast will I get something?”

Plugged Inn says some members hit within 24–48 hours, depending on what's releasing. One of the Whop reviews above is from a member who had hit Pokémon Center through alerts but hadn't hit with autocheckout yet. Expect it to depend on the release calendar.

“What if I want out?”

Premium has a 3-day free trial on Whop and you can cancel from your Whop account. Plugged Inn's refund policy says refunds may be issued within 7 days at their discretion, and none after that.

“I'm not in the US.”

Then it's mostly not for you. The retailers covered are US ones (Pokémon Center, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, Costco and others) and the checkout setup is US-focused.

11 · Honest fit check

Is it worth $14.99 to you?

Autocheckout only helps if you can use it. Tick what's true.

Tick what applies.

Four quick questions. We'll be honest about whether it's worth $14.99.

12 · Verdict and alternatives

Our verdict.

A good pick if you're in the US and keep losing drops at checkout. The alerts and in-store stock checker are the dependable part, and they're what most reviewers praise. Autocheckout is the reason to pay more than Lite, as long as you accept the fee on wins and the card-details trade-off.

Skip it if you're outside the US, won't share payment details, or want something that works with no setup.
